Influencers on social media

This type of marketing is very lucrative, and pure genius  for influencers. Once you have that "it" factor, and people start noticing  you, you are good as gold. Companies will pay influencers the big bucks to wear, eat, and advertise their products. According to the CBS article, influencers are paid upwards of $200,000 for advertising a product.  I have seen this type of marketing before, where Jenelle Evans from Teen Mom was a spokesperson for various products. This is how she was making a living after being cut from MTV's Teen Mom. But in order to maintain a relationship with a company and sponsor their products for pay, you have to be a good person, with morals, and there can be no negativity associated with you. For example: Jenelle Evans was fired from Teen Mom because her husband David Evans posted racist jargon on his social media, and Jenelle did not speak up disapproving of his behavior. Impacting the consumer through digital media - TPA

Tampa International Airport hit the mark in reaching consumers by tugging at their heartstrings, their human side. By appealing to their emotions with a heartfelt story about a little boy that lost his stuffed friend while traveling, the aviation company was able to draw in millions of views. But most importantly, they gained their audience's trust  and garnered brand loyalty by going above and beyond for the little guy. TPA continued to engage with its audience by individually replying to some of the positive comments they received. Even with the overwhelming response to their ...

Week 1 - A day in the life

The websites I frequent most often are Facebook, Gmail, Twitter, and SNHU. However, I have many applications on my phone, like my financial apps, some gaming apps, and other important apps that I must use from time to time. I use Facebook to check up with friends and family or scroll Facebook when I am bored or have a moment to read interest-group posts. I am always checking my Gmail because I do not want to miss an important message. I am probably on Gmail more than anything else online. Twitter is not a priority, but I scroll from time to time to view the latest news or gossip. I will occasionally go on TikTok but it is not as often as I used to.  I am not up to date on all the "in" new apps that are around now. I admit, I jumped on the TikTok bandwagon a couple years ago but found that I was getting annoyed with most of the videos I was seeing. The past 6 months I have stopped going on there like how I was. Facebook has almost everyone there, so I guess that is why I am th...
